When you come to Denmark, you’re going to live with me, in my continuation school. A continuation school is a school where you live, because you have to sleep there, from Sunday to Friday and sometimes in the weekends too. The school is called Brøruphus Efterskole, and is located in a very little city called Brørup. The surroundings around the school are very beautiful. We are 150 students, and it’s only 9. and 10. grade. 50 of the students are students who go in 9. grade, and the rest are students in 10. grade. It a sport and music continuation school, that means that you have to choose to play badminton, handball, soccer or something musical, to go there. Whatever you choose, you have to choose an optional subject, you can for example pick music, needle work and other things as your optional subject. The timetable is a bit different, because you go to school from 8 a.m to about 5-6 p.m and one lesson takes 90 minutes and in the folkeskole a lesson “only” takes 45 minutes. From 8 a.m to 8.35 a.m are all the students and 1 or 2 teachers together, we sing and a teacher tell something he or she think could be interesting for us, that’s a tradition we got. We have rhythmical gymnastics, that’s very fun, I think that we are going to appear it up to 12-14 times. We may not smoke or drink at the school, if we do that we’ll get expelled, it’s a very important rule to remember, because I don’t think anyone wants to be expelled. I don’t think that we have a lot of homework, that’s nice. We don’t have a uniform, but we have some clothes, we wear, when we meet other continuation schools.
