New York ferie: et uventet mordmysterium

It was Friday morning, I just started packing my things because were going to the U.S.A on vacation tomorrow, Just me, my mother, my little brother and sister. My mom wanted to cheer us up a bit after our fathers death last summer, so she decided to take us on vacation to America. The following day, we drove to the airport and then we boarded the plain, and then we flew to New York. The flight lasted 8 hours. When we finally arrived in New York we took at taxi to the hotel and then when we reached the hotel we went directly to bed, since the clock was near 1 at night. The next morning we went out eating breakfast, and then we took a tourist bus, which drove us around for hours, so we got to try and see a lot of stuff. At about 6 o’clock we decided to go get some dinner, so we took a cap to Times Square. We were walking around in Times Square looking for a restaurant when suddenly, we heard gunshots from on of the alleys, and since the were a ton of people there everybody started screaming, panicking and pushing to each other. The police quickly arrived at the scene and since almost everybody was gone, the police found a dead body in one of the alleys, and then they started asking people if they had seen anything, and since I saw something suspicious I went over to one of the policemen and told him that I saw a guy with a black hoodie on laying up one of the roof on one of the buildings, so they started checking all the roofs in the area, and on one of the roofs pretty far away, they found large bag with cash, so they figured It was an assassination and that the money they found was his reward. So they sat traps on the rooftop and then they waited for him to come and get his reward, which he did a couple of hours later, and then 7 policemen jumped him and handcuffed him, he tried to get away and when he realised that he couldn’t get them off him, he tried to jump of the roof, but he couldn’t even move. After the policemen drove away with him we sat down at a restaurant not so far from were it all happened and got some dinner and talked, my mom and sip lings was in chock. After that the policemen contacted us, they were very thankful for my performance, and then they told me that the killer got sent to jail for 18 years, which I was very glad to hear.
