Tony and his younger siblings, Robert and Debbie, was in New York with their mother. It was in the afternoon, and they wanted to find a place to eat. Therefore, they took to Times Square, and looked. They found many places, but the one that interested them all the most was “Carmine’s”, but it was on the other side of the street. They had to find a pedestrian crossing. The one nearest to them was about 25 meters to the left of them. They walked over there, all four of them. Their mother told them to stay close to her, so they did. But when they were about to cross the street they got separated, because there was a lot of people walking in front of them, so they had to wait for the next “green light”. This time they assured themselves to get in the front of the pedestrian crossing, so they were sure to get over this time. Debbie had her wristband folded around her fingers; it was like a luck charm for her. The light turned green again, and they started to walk over the pedestrian crossing. They made it out, five or six steps, before Debbie dropped her wristband. She stopped instantly and turned around to find it. A lot of people walked across that pedestrian crossing at that moment, and the wristband had probably been kicked into another direction. The boys helped her, since she wouldn’t go without her wristband. They had to find the wristband, and did not leave ‘till they did. Their mother went to one of the police officers because she couldn’t find them. She told them that it was two boys and a little girl that she lost around the pedestrian crossing. The police officers told her, that they would look for them, and they would tell them where she were if they found them. The three youngsters found the wristband, and Debbie was told to keep it on her wrist now. When they were about to cross the pedestrian crossing they met the police officers, and they told them what was happened. The police officers understood, and said to them, that their mother waited for them over at “Carmine’s”. The three youngsters ran all the way, and jumped into their mothers arms. Now they could get some feed, as they were supposed to do in the beginning.
