Central Park og Times Square i New York

I choose scrip about Central Park and Times Square because I think it’s quite interesting. I really want to go and see the things and just come to New York.

Central Park.

Facts about Central Park:

Central park is the most visit park in New York. The park is 4 kilometer long and 800 meter wide. Every year there is about 25 million visits. It took about 20 years to build the park; they started to build the park in the 1850’s and they were finish in the 1870’s. The park Is also used by many famous people to run in and it’s also a place where the people there lives in New York comes to relax and just to get away from the world around them.

What is there in the Park:

In the park there are many man-made lakes, hiking trails, ice rinks, playgrounds, a zoo and much more. Around the park there is a 10 kilometer long road, who joggers, cyclists and skate runs use. The park also draws many migratory birds to and that’s why the park also is visits by many twitchier. In the park you can see H. C. Andersen with the ugly duckling, Alice in wonderland and memorial for John Lennon who was killed at his home in 1980.
