The Times Square Suicide. 

  Robert carried the last box upstairs, he was finally moving to New York. This was the  first big step in his life, now he just needed to find a job, fast. The first couple of days, he  used to buy food and furnish his apartment so he could actually live there.  When he went out to get some chinese food, he met his new neighbor. They talked for  half an hour. His name was Jim Smith and worked as a Lawyer. He seemed kind of sad,  but Robert didn’t ask why.  After a week in New York he decided to find a job. He had a fine education, good  enough to work in an office, but he also knew a lot about stock marketing.  He called some people in the stock/office market to see if they needed some help.  A company called “Tiger Stocks” just lost a man, so they needed a little help. As soon  as they heard his experience in stocking they were amazed, that he got the job.  He was so happy, because now he could work from home, as long as he noted  everything he did. He worked for a couple of weeks, and actually made pretty decent  money. One day he invited his family over to see his apartment and New York. It took  some days before they got to  New York, since they lived in Los Angeles. Robert picked  them up at the airport, and took them to his apartment. They loved it, it had lots of  pictures on the white walls, dark tree as flooring, and a beautiful furnishment.  They went out to see the big city, Robert showed them some sights in New York. The  last thing on their list was Time Square. They got there, and was again amazed.As they  walked down the street, suddenly they heard a man yell:”I going to jump!”. They went  out of the shop to see what it was. It was Jim, standing on top of a building ready to  jump.The police was everywhere. Roberts mom covered Debbie’s eyes. And then  suddenly a gasp came from the crowd, Jim was laying on the road with a blood pool  around him. Robert told his family to go back to the apartment, and gave them the keys.  He went over to a policeman and told him that he knew the guy. The policeman was told  a few things, and then left again. Robert went home to his apartment again, and Debbie  was playing around with some LEGO on the floor. Robert and the rest of the family  talked a little over a cup of coffee. Although they saw a man kill himself, they had a  good time talking. The family went home the next day.
