For one month ago the environmental action group should tell about Plastic bottles at my school, what up and downs they have. I got really inspired about it, and started to make my own suggestion of what we can do to stop this huge problem.
60 million: is the number of plastic bottles there are thrown away every day. But when do you throw a plastic bottle away? “I tell you” when you see a standard thrash can you just throwing it away, the best would be if we all could throw it out, but in a recycle trash can, then the plastic will be recycled, and that would help on the environment, cause 80 % of the bottles isn’t recycled, so many just throw it away. But what are the consequences? Over a year 2,500,000 tons of carbon dioxide is emitted into the atmosphere, and that is only by producing the bottles.
For some months now I thought about what we could do to stop the huge production of plastic bottles, my conclusion is, we must get better to throw it out in the right trash can, and maybe the state need to place more of recycle trash cans, so individuals doesn’t need to have problems finding these trash cans. But why is it so important to do something against? Because enough oil to run 500,000 cars is used annually to make bottles, maybe it isn’t a problem now, but we are using more and more oil for each day, and the earth haven’t unlimited resources, so maybe sooner they we expect we will run out of oil. But It isn’t only the plastic bottles their could make the oil past longer, no the cars and the big factories are also using a lot, but maybe the plastic bottles could be a start of making the world to a better place in the future.
