Martin Luther-King

Who was Martin Luther-King, and what did he achieve? What problems did he face in his worldwide-known speech ?“I have a dream”?? How did his speech effect the publication then and now? How did MLK die, and which consequences did it have?

Martin Luther-King Jr. was an afro american civil rights campaigner and social activist, and he is today known as one of the nations heroes in USA. Luthers was born in Atlanta placed in Georgia, in a strong religious home in the middle class. His father was a priest in the local black church, and Luther got educated as a priest too. Martin Luther-King played a big part in many of the well-known civil rights movements in the 1950’ties and 1960’ties. He was noticed the first time as head of the buss boycott in Montgomery. It began when Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white. He was a founding member of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference in 1957, which would organize civilrightsfreedom-activistem. King advocated (talsmand) the philosophy of public disobedience. He led several marches to highlight different lack of basic rights. He received the Nobel’s Peace Award in 1964 as the youngest recipient of all time as a symbol and leader of the black non-violence movement. In his speech of thanks, he mentioned that he received the price with pation and trust to America and a hearty trust to the American population.
