In the beginning he is a violent racist. He has a very violent temper. He is a part of a Nazis group.
When he comes into present, he is going through a development. When comes out of present, he is not a racist anymore, and he drop out of the Nazis group.
2. How would you describe Derek’s relationship with his family?
In the beginning it is not so well, especially not with his mother and sister. The bad relationship whit his mother got very bad, when Derek got angry with the man his mother’s saw, and then his other asked him to move out. But when Derek comes out of present, he change, and the relationship to his mother become better and better. The relationship with his little brother Danny was pretty good all the time.
3. When did Derek become a racist?
Derek start to become a racist, when he tell his father about a book they are reading in the school, his father’s reaction to the book is, that it is some racist crape, and that become the beginning of Derek as a racist. It probably get worst when his father dies.
