Analyse af filmen 'American History X'

American history X is about racism, Nazism and crime. The film tells a story about to brothers who live in Los Angeles. Their father are firefighter and he was being killed by a black drug dealer, while he was in affair of extinguish a fire in a neighborhood of Los Angeles. Derek and Danny are some good students, but Derek drives into a Neo-Nazi movement, because his father was murdered by a “nigger”, therefore he hated and accused black people. Derek brutally killed tree niggers, whom he saw them steal his father’s truck, which he has left to his family.

Derek was sentenced 3 years prison for voluntary manslaughter. The story shows us how Derek changed by his prisons experiences, when he get out of the prison he saw that his brother Danny follow the bad way Derek had inspired him from 3 years ago. He tried to stop Danny to following the Nazi-ideology and his actions. Derek realized racisms were pointless and the white people actually were the worst, because he was being raped and beaten by some white persons, because he has an attitude to manage. His best friend was a “nigger” in the prison and he was ashamed of his past.
