American History X er en opgave om filmen der handler om racismen i USA og hvad historien går ud på og et godt referat jeg fik et 10 tal for

Dear Dr. Sweenie, I am writing this letter to you right now, to let you know where I am in my life at the moment. It has been 5 years ago we last spoke together, and the tragedy with Danny. Fortunately I have been moving forward and I am not thinking so much about what happened. I am a positive man now and have responsibility for my life. I have a wife and two lovely kids. A girl and a boy. I met my wife in the new area I moved into. We had so many things in common so we fell in love. And got married after some time. I have good job now, and a lot of new friends. The area I moved into is the opposite of racist. Everyone one helps everyone here, we stay together like a family. Whatever skin color, eye color or culture. We help each other. I want to thank you for everything you did for me. And tell you that my life is going great at the moment. I have no problems anymore. I have let the past behind me, and sat focus on making my life better, for myself, for my family and for all the people who have helped me getting so far. But the greatest thanks go to my friend Lamont from the jail, which have showed me the truth and opened my eyes for better options in my life. I would wish Danny still lived, so he could see how the real life outside the Nazi-group is. Where you decide your own future, and not letting other people have control over you. I would wish he was here, so we could spend some time together, so he could learn our new friends, and my new family. I feel bad when I remember my past. I see all the bad things in quick pictures. I feel terribly when I think about how nasty I have been. I wish I could go back in time, to change every bad thing I have done. But in the same way I am glad I ended up here. You know what they say. You learn from your mistakes, and I have definitely learned from mine. The old Nazi-tattoo that I had on my chest is gone now. I have replaced it with a heart. It stands for love to all people, whatever skin color they have. We are all the same. We should not be fighting each other. The good news is that racism is quietly disappearing. You barely see people who call each other bad stuff. Racism is now in a very lower grade, then before. I am glad that my children will grow up in this community who is racism-free so they can have a good childhood, and hopefully also learn their children when they grow up, how it is to be a good human. And communicate with all kind of people. Whatever their skin color. I thank god for taking me so far, and giving me the opportunity to take my life, back on track again. And thanks to all the people who have being helping me through this. Thanks Dr. Sweenie, it has been a good journey against the evil. People like you inspire people to think right, and act right. I thank you from all my heart. You are like a dad for me. I hope we will meet some day or our children will grow up together. Greetings Derek Vinyard.
