My topic will be about Sam Smith. Sam Smith is just an acting name he was actually born as Samuel Frederick Smith. Samuel was born on the 19 may 1992 which make him 23 years old today. Samuel was born in London in Britain, His father name was Frederick Smith and his mother Kate Cassidy. Before Samuel started singing he was an actor, he performed in small plays, his biggest was “Oh! Carol” from 2007, which was performed in “Music Theatre UK”. Samuels singing career started in 2012 when he got a job alongside disclosure on their song latch. That song made it to 11th place on the British top 100. Later on in 2013 he worked with Naughty Boy on his single “La La La” which became his first song to reach the first place on the British top 100 in May 2013.
2013 and 2014 was Samuels two biggest years so far. In 2013 he got nominated for two very big awards in Britain. His debut album “In the lonely hour” was made and released in 2014 this album is his biggest yet. The album features 23 songs where 12 of them made it to top 100 in Britain but also in America and 5 of them even made it to top 10 in both countries!
