The Annual Family Dinner

The day started out with that I woke up in the middle of a dream, by the sound of my annoying alarm clock. I woke up in the middle of a wonderful dream. I dreamed that I was twenty years into med life and that I was known throughout the world for my outstanding singing talent. But I do know something though. It remains a dream. Because with my terrible singing voice, it will absolutely never happen. People often tells me that my voice could smash a mirror like in the movies – guess that says enough.

After I had been in bed for about an hour, and watched strange YouTube videos, I thought it was time to take a shower and get ready, even though I really would prefer to stay in bed.

I had an appointment with my grandmother at 2 PM.

We had planned to prepare for the evenings big family dinner. A dinner where all the family members are together at my grandma’s house, and we´re eating delicious food and are having a lot of fun. When I arrived at my grandmothers house she was as usual standing in the door with open arms, and preparing the biggest hug you could ever imagine. We immediately went to the kitchen and started cooking. The menu was roast, potatoes and gravy - also called typical grandmother food. We had so much fun in the kitchen and talked about everything. The rest of the family came at 6 PM. We ate our delicious food and played board games the rest of the evening. Witch uncle Peter, of course, won - no change there.
