A Family's Struggle with Grief and Addiction

My dad and Kevin, who is my brother, just had a fight about my brother’s new friends. My dad means that they a not good component to keep. My dad is right, I have seen my brother and his behavior in school and he has chance a lot after he got his new friends. He is starting to not during his homework and now his also smoke like his friends. I think that he thinks that they are cool, but I know that all the student and children think they are stupid and is afraid for them. They are nothing, but they think that they run this neighborhood and I can’t take it. I don’t know about my dad knowing that my brother is starting to smoke but I am not going to tell my father about it, Kevin can tell dad himself.

Now there has gone two months and it gets worse. My dad had found out that Kevin smokes. That he is not happy about. After my mom died, my brother was starting to chance. I think it has to do something about or mom’s death. She died after a long time illness of cancer.

My brother is almost never home anymore he is only home late night and in the morning. I haven’t been in his room since our mom died before that, me and my brother was together a lot and I just cut come in to his room when I want but now if I just nock on the door to this room, his starts shouting at me.
