Hello Pernell. I’m writing to you, because I wanted to tell you about my first week here on the new school in USA. I just moved here, and I think that all people are very forthcoming. I drive with a school bus to school every day.
The school is named Bold High School, its very different to KSS. The school environment is also very weird compared to Denmark’s. I think that here in USA that the youth culture is point on. Everyone is divided into groups. One day there came an Emo and asked about I want’s join their group. I said no. When we meet in school we have to find our classroom, which I had trouble with the first days. Its because every lesson you have you need to go to a new classroom, and when there is seven hundred people in the hall its kind of hard to figure out where to go.
The teachers are very nice; they are very comfortable to be around. They are not yelling of anyone; everyone is quit when they speak.
One thing I love is the cafeteria why don’t we have that in Denmark? They are serving us all kind of different food, yesterday we had lasagne and I loved it. Everyone is meeting at the same time, I see new people everyday, and I’m making new friends. My English teacher is very sweet, but her accent is a little bit weird, so its hard to understand her sometimes. The topics we having are very exciting here, we are talking about crime and torture, which I think is very cool. The best thing that happened to me this week, was that I was invited to see our football team play against another school. I have never experienced anything like that, everyone was shouting out loud, cheering for their team. It was a very close match, but we won with 2 points in the last minute.
