a) Explain why these people are called ”Mole People” and why they are living “underground”?

They are called mole people because they live underground like a mole. It’s safer and warmer to live underground, they don’t become attacked like people who live on the streets and some don’t want to have their children taken away from them.

b) Explain how they survive, and also how the people from above look upon them.

People live comparatively deep underground, because there can be too much noise right under the surface, and also the rats live there. The rumour says some of the mole people eat rats. There are some who live so deep down that nobody sees and they don’t really speaks or that is the people from above perceptions, but it isn’t true. Some of the mole people have jobs above the ground and someone begs and someone never comes above the ground. In some tunnels there are fresh water pipes and power cables.

c) Do the “Mole People” get any official help and why did they move into the tunnels in the first place?

The outside world is not invited into the tunnels and then it can be hard to help the mole people, but the Metropolitan Transit Authority tries to aid those who are mentally ill. The mole people moved into the tunnels in the first place because there are warmer and safer in proportion to the street.
