et brev fra jesminder til hendes coach joe, om hvordan hun har det efter 6 m?neder i usa. god forn?jelse venner

Dear Joe, I hope this letter finds you well. It has already been six months since I last saw you and I will admit that I miss you more than words could describe. I cannot wait to come back home for Christmas and hopefully see you. I have heard from my father that beyond being a football-coach, you are an excellent cricketer. Due to the fact that you are spending time with my father, playing his favourite sport, truly warms my heart. I have always pictured my significant other to create a strong bond to my family and especially to my father. As I promised you at the airport, where you came to say goodbye to me and Jules, I will explain our relationship to my parents once I get back. You must bear in mind that they are still old-fashioned, however they will understand as time progresses. Speaking of time, I must say that it has flown by fast while I have been here in the United States of America. When you are having fun and enjoying what you are doing in life, time is the least of your worries. However, it can get tough sometimes to catch up with school-work, such as papers that need to be handed in by specific deadlines, while putting so much effort into the intense football training. If you look away from the heavy homework load, Santa Clara University is the dream place for me to study and play football. I feel like this is where I belong and I am so happy that my parents - well, mostly my father - allowed me to come here in the first place. There are so many amazing, understandable and very professional teachers here, not to mention our football-coach! She is strict but fair and she knows how to keep us going even when we have reached our limits. By the sound of things, you can tell that the training here is a whole new level. It is difficult but I absolutely relish it. Because of my busy, daily schedule I do not get a lot of free time outside of school. To be honest, It is not a big deal to me, because the social life at school is exceptional. There is so many activities you can do and so many meaningful organisations you can become a member of. I have signed up for a few organisations myself and most of them are football related. Not a big surprise, is it? I have made a lot of new friends from both the different organisations, my class and the football-team I play for. I even get along with Jules more than I would have expected! As a matter of fact, she is one of my best friends here. She understands me and I understand her. Furthermore we have been really good at supporting each other when facing difficult times. All things considered, it has been six hard, but enjoyable months. As mentioned before, I am really looking forward to come back for Christmas and see you as well as my family. I will then tell you much more about what I have been doing here. Enough from me! What have you been doing? How is the training going? Any progress? I would love to hear from you soon, but until then - take care! Best wishes, Jess.
