The story is about an Indian girl called Jess, she’s real name is Jessminder. And she is crazy in football, she has a lot of football pictures in she’s room. Jesses parents want her to be a nice Indian girl, they pray she will study in a high school, and be a lawyer. But Jess has other plans in she’s life, she wants to play football, like Beckham. Jess has a sister called Pinky. One day when Pinky went to get married, went jess to play a football match. She’s father says at she will get to be the party. Jess was cross in the party. then she’s father says at random to get the match, she get the match and score and the team have win. Support the story had Jess travelled to USA and had meeting Beckham. It was a very short report about the book.
My own meaning about the book:
It is a very good book, because the book have telling us, how hard it is to play football, when you are a girl from an other culture. And I find the film better than the book, because it is better tolled and elaborated.
The books name: Bend it like Beckham.
