'Bend it like Beckham', resumé

The book bend it like Beckham is about Jesminder, who is Asian and lives with her parents and sister. Jess has always been interested in football but in her culture, there is no such thing of playing football. Jess’s sister is happily engaged and they are planning the weeding. Jesminder goes in the park a lot to play football with the other guys, and they normally teas her but jesminder knows that she is much better than all the guys. One day while playing football a girl comes over and begins to talk to Jess, her name is Jules and she is playing for a real football team, something Jess always wanted. Jules brings Jesminder over to the football team and she quickly finds her place among the other players. They coach is named Joe and apparently she is not the only one, how sees more than just a coach in him. Jesminder now has to disappoint her family, by lying to them about playing football, she is saying she is working at a supermarket not fare way. Her mother as this time now things she has forgotten everything about football. Jess quickly discovers the joy of playing for a team. Now she is going on trips with her team including Joe. Her sister covers up for Jesminder, and Jess is having the time of her life. But lying is never easy and the truth will come out in more than one way.
