Characterization of Forrest Gump (400 words) Forrest Gump is the name of a young man from Alabama. In his early years, Forrest Gump lived at his mother’s house, which also worked as a hotel for travellers. Forrest Gump has never known his dad; we know that because when Forrest asks for his father at the start of the movie, his mother just replies “he’s travelling”.
