Hello, my name is [NAVN A]. I'm 15 years old and I come from Denmark. I would like to apply for a scholarship at your school.

A year in your school would be a great opportunity for me to mature, and get ready for high school. I would like become more independent in a new environment away from my friends and family, and get driven out of my comfort zone. I would also like to meet new people and create new friendships, maybe lasting a lifetime. It will certainly be a life-changing year for me at your school. A year in your school would help make my English complete and fluid, which might help my further ahead in my career and life. So a year in your school would be tremendous.

I think it’s important to experience different cultures, so that you can understand the behaviour of other people, and get another perspective on different things. That's one of the many reasons why I want to get a scholarship at your school. I think the African culture and customs are very appealing, and that would be great to learn about. And I already have an idea of the South African way of life, but I am eager to know more.
