I would love to spend a year at your school. I have been travelling a lot of times in my life. Some years ago I visited South Africa, and I really enjoyed the country. The city Cape Town, where the school are placed, is a great city. South African history seems very exciting to me. I know your country has changed a lot due the last couple of centuries. Now you are not separated like you were in the Apartheid-period.
It is very important for me to have a year out of Denmark. I need to prove my English, and I do not know think you can do i a better way, than living in an English-speaking country. Your English i going to be proved a lot in one year, where you speak it all the time. I also really enjoy to experience other cultures, so I think this is an ideal opportunity for me.
I would recommend myself for your school, because I am a very open-minded boy. I like to meet new people, and my English is good, but still needs to be proven. I would love talking and hanging out with the other students, and then they can learn something about my culture too. I am truly interested in the South African culture. I really hope to learn much more about your society. Nelson Mandela is a very inspiring man for many people, and indeed also for me. There are so many things to know, I do not really know where to begin!
