The Butler - Anmeldelse

A short summary: The movie “The Butler” is about a black man named Cecil Gaines. Cecil was born into slavery and worked as a child in a cotton field on a farm owned by a white family. When his dad is shot dead by the son of the house, the lady in the house takes Cecil as a “housenigger”. After a few years Cecil leaves the farm and travels into the city looking for a better life. In the city, he passes a bakery. He smashes the window to get something to eat. A man who is serving in the house comes down and finds Cecil eating and bleeding and he helps Cecil to get a job as a servant in the house. Cecil is very good at serving.
