This is a popular saying from Malcolm x after his trip to Saudi Arabia for the Islamic pilgrimage, which is an obligated trip to the holy land of Makkah for the Muslims who can afford it. Here he witnessed a fascinating brotherhood, and spirit across the different races he never had seen before.
Who was Malcolm x?
Al-hajj Malik Shabazz better known as Malcolm X, was a world renowned Muslim preacher and a black civil rights activist. Malcolm X was born on 19 may, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska, he died in 1956 at the age of 39 in New York. During his early years he was on the streets, where he was involved in drug dealing, robberies, and other crimes, but when he went to the prison he changed himself and converted to the religion of Islam.
Malcolm x was born into a black Baptist family, he was the fourth out of eight children. His family was harassed by white supremacist groups including KKK, because they were a black civil rights activist family. Due to all these harassments they faced, it ended up with the loss of his father in a young age.
