Being different - Race

Having a ‘different’ race… What makes us different, just because we have another skin color, or because we are from a different culture, or we are having a different race? Why do black people, Muslims, Jews and many other religions, cultures and sexualities, still have to be scared of being underrated, belittled or ridiculed by society?

Being black isn’t necessarily being a bad guy, having bad intentions or being unintelligent. Being a Muslim isn’t necessarily being a terrorist. And why would we judge people just because of how they look, or which culture they’re from?

You would probably think, that racism is a closed chapter in this world. Well we live in 2017. Shouldn’t we just have a microscopic, tiny, tiny bit of common sense in our heads? Apparently not. Many people still, today think that black people are stupid, or that all Muslims are terrorist. Is it okay to judge people on that, just by looking at them? Why do we still – today in 2017 – have problems with people from another race, or people from a different culture?
