Racism and violence in the USA

I’ve chosen this topic, because of the fact that it’s discussed topic in the USA, and I want to find out the reasons behind race wars. The statistics shows that most of the violence in the country is related to racism, but why? Is it because of the history of the country? Is it because of different culture and traditions close to each other? Who has most racist thoughts? Why can’t people live in the same society without killing each other? All this I want to find out in this assignment.

The United States is known over the world as the land of opportunity. The country is founded by foreigners and people from all over the world. Since 1500, the USA has been a multicultural country. But why is it then, that racism maybe is the biggest problem in the country? I know that it have changed since the election of Obama in 2008, but it’s still a massive problem all over the country. A good example of racism related violence, that happened a year ago, is the shooting of Trayvon Martin. He was just an ordinary kid, who wore a hoodie and came with candy. How could that happen? An unbelievable scary action.
