Today’s generation is clueless, when it comes to the food industry.

Their knowledge of how and where the food that is served come from is nowhere to be found. Most children haven’t had the opportunity of learning about farming and the process that goes into producing the food, before it ends up on their plates. This lack of knowledge leads to children not knowing, how important sustainable farming is. I think it’s an important subject that all kids should be taught about, especially since the general health of today’s society is worse than ever.

Kids around the world are growing up in a society, where they learn to prefer the unhealthy choices, when it comes to food and snacks. This problem leads to many health problems such as; diabetes, heart problems and in some cases early death because of bad health. This problem could and should be reduced or preferably stopped, by teaching kids and youngsters about how important, living a healthy life is. A healthy life doesn’t necessarily mean that no less healthy choices are allowed,

but it should involve some form of exercise and healthy meals.

I think Farm to Fork is a brilliant way to teach the younger generation, about living a healthy life and getting a healthy relationship to food. The Online field trips sound like a great idea, but I still think it’s important for the kids, to experience some field trips in real-life. The online field trips seem like a great way for the kids to get answers, to the questions they might have about how food is made and where it’s produced.
