Piracy is a common thing for most young people. Some do it to save money and others do it because it’s easy. Most people do know the consequences, but they still do it. What happens when the get caught and after they pay the fine? Are they going to do it again?
There are two sides of opinion on media piracy. Those who think music and movies should cost money and those who disagree and do piracy. But should it cost money to listen to your favourite song. Musicians put a lot of work into making a hit song and an awesome music video. But they can’t do that all on their own, can they? They need a recording studio, a company to release the track and someone who can shoot and edit a music video. If a song is free to listen to where would the money come from? Would it be fair? For us sure but in the end, musicians won’t have the money to produce the music, there won’t be any music.
