Is free fair? Many people would say no; defiantly not, however some people would be completely okay with this.
I’ve downloaded music down on my computer at several occasions, however the only use for this was to make a school product or something else at a non-commercial use. I believe that making a school movie and using downloaded music is okay. As long as you don’t use it for your own pleasure or uploading it and earning money on it. If you want to listen to music, it can be done many places for free. One instance is Spotify, you don’t have to pay for it and occasionally there is advertisement. When you use Spotify, the creators also get a fair share of money from each stream. If advertisements aren’t really for you and you want to download your music. Then pay the small fee that comes with Spotify premium.
When people download music, it is seemed that is more for commercial or non-commercial uses as videos. It doesn’t make sense to download music illegally, when you can stream it for free, completely legally. If there is plans to earn money on the work that you made, using music that you didn’t pay for. Then it is utterly wrong and should defiantly be punished.
