Ethos Pathos Logos

ETHOS PATHOS LOGOS OBAMA WHITE HOUSE DINNER SPEACH

Ethos: there is a good example of Ethos in this speech because it's (was) the president of the united states - people know that he’s worth listening to that means  (they will keep listening to him) - we also trust him - because he’s the president - obama also  kinda have the power  to convince us because he's the president - obama does not use swear words in his speech. and that makes him a more loyal person - altogether there is being used a lot of ethos in this speech 

Pathos: - He expresses his feeling about his last correspond dinner at the white house which supposedly is sad for him - He also says that the feeling is pretty much indescribable seeing all these people showing up - He also links Nelson Mandela's speech in where he says that it has motivated him to think more about people and help those in need - He also thanks his family for supporting him during the 8 years he has been president for the united states of america He mixes the speech with emotions and feelings that can be undesirable and no words can be set for it
