Animal cruelty is an injustice and a sensitive topic that most people do not or will never understand. Animal cruelty is unreasonable. These poor animals can’t speak for themselves, they can’t ask for help. They’re helpless inside that cage. Every year millions of animals are blinded, shocked and poisoned. According to the United States Department of Agriculture, over nine billion are butchered for human consumption every year, roughly 20 million are sacrifice in laboratories, and another five million are killed for their fur in the United States. The worst thing is, that we all tribute to keep this going on.
Cattle that are being used for your steak are branded, their horns cut off. All this are without painkillers. Painful thought, isn't it? Why would proper veterinary care be given, when they are going to die anyways? Fur is warm and soft, yes… but is it fair to kill about 40 minks, fox or even more chinchillas to create a coat? Next time you go to the ZOO and look at the seal cub, imagine what a happy life the seal cub is having. In some countries seal cubs are being hidden with sticks on their heads, their hide is getting fleeced. And people behind this cruelty are doing this while the cub is conscious, and let the meet be litter. Do you think this is fair?
