Looking at “the fame monster” as a whole, growing up famous is an interesting subtopic. We are in a generation where fame is just one click away, and, on paper, everyone can become famous.
This begs the question; “Why do people grow up famous”, and you can argue for multiple answers to this question. One reason can be your parents. Some famous people post their kids a lot on the social media. An example of this could be Cristiano Ronaldo, who might post a picture of him eating or practising football with his son. However some become famous just because their parents are, without doing anything so to say. An example of this could be Lourdes, Britney Spears’ daughter. She is leading a normal life like so many others, yet she was still very anticipated at her new school, where some were surprised of how normal she actually was. "I saw [Lourdes] in the morning and in the cafeteria," said a fellow freshman. "She was talking to people. She blends in with everyone. She seems like a normal person."
Another answer is children's use of the social medias. Lots of trends and fads come and go such as “Backpack Kid” or “Gangnam Style”, however others use it as a way to kickstart their fame. Justin Bieber is just one of these people. He originally got noticed due to a Youtube Video of himself singing, and has later gone on to make a career for himself as the grown man he is today. Other medias include “vine”, a media somewhat like youtube, where people make 6 second videos of themselves, often in aid of comic relief. This way kids as well as adults can use the social medias to get them into the public eye.
