Youngsters and Alcohol

Alcohol has for many years been a big problem for teenagers. But for today’s teenagers, it has become even worse, especially in Denmark. Nearly every teenager have tried the liquid fluid, called alcohol, and for some teens, alcohol is very popular to drink while being with their friends.

Actually is Denmark quite known as a country with many alcohol-drinking teenagers.

I think youngsters drink alcohol because they feel more grown-ups and more mature.

I also believe that they drink alcohol because they know it affects them, and some probably drink because they are normally shy, and with some help from the alcohol, they get more socialized and they get more confidence. So, according to my opinion, youngsters drink alcohol to get more popular and to make more friends, and maybe just have a lot of fun. I don’t think my own drinking habits are as bad as many other teenagers. I only drink when I’m at parties or something like that. And it’s not very often I’m getting drunk, but I have tried it a couple of times. When it comes to alcohol, I’m usually quite good at controlling the amounts I take. I’ve also been told by my parents, that I’m very strong-minded about alcohol. I know that alcohol can cause a lot of trouble.
