Letter to a pen-friend about environmental pollution

I totally agree with you. I think it is so horrible that people do not think about the consequence of the environmental pollution. It is wrong that they are still throwing all their waste and rubbish everywhere, for instance in the oceans, in the streets, in the bushes and so on. The only places where they are not throwing their waste are in the dustbin. I think it’s very disrespectful and a serious mess. It’s unbelievable that people can do that without even a feeling of guilt. I don’t know how it ends if people keep throwing all their disgusting waste in the streets, in the oceans and so on. But sooner or later something has to be done to protect our environment, because it can only be fair to the next generation if they can grow up on a healthy earth, like their previous generation did.

For many years we have used a recycling system on bottles for bear and soda pop in Denmark. When you buy a bear or a soda pop you pay a security, which you get back when you return the bottle. I think that is essential then the bottles not will be throwing everywhere, and thus can pollute our nature.
