Film analysis Essay Into the wild (0:00-8:04) The opening scene in Into the wild starts off with a black screen with a text that says” there is a pleasure in the pathless woods…” ending with” I love not man the less, but nature more”, from just these very few words at the beginning, we could imagine that this movie has some kind of relation to nature, and our conception gets confirmed when we see the main character go into the nature. We then see a picture of a man, with non-diegetic sounds in the background, a voice saying” mom! Mom!
