Hello and welcome back to my travel blog. As many of you might know, my family and I just arrived home, after a small trip to Whistler, a small but great town in Canada. But let’s take about the trip, and not about us arriving home again. When we arrived at the hotel late Thursday night, we all went straight to bed, so we could get early up, and try the Treetop Canopy Walk. Of course, it is a treetop walk, but at 200 feet height. And I must admit, that I really thought I was going to die. We ended up walking behind a family from Ireland, and they talked like we were close family. They used long time talking about their daughter living in Toronto, and that they were visiting her. I must admit, that I might understand the half of what they said. Not enough with the accent, they talked very fast, and both the mother and the father talked at the same time, all the time.Luckily, we came down, and could get away from this very special Irish family. And we could get home to the hotel, and just chill with some movies the rest of the day. It was a very funny drive to the hotel, cause my father couldn’t quite find the hotel, and we ended up first coming home at night, cause my father drove all the way to another city, and another hotel, just to find out that it wasn’t our hotel. My sister and I thought it was very funny, but my mother couldn’t quite see the funny thing about driving around a home day, when we should see a lot of things. But we did see a lot of Whistlers roads.Saturday was a shopping day. My sister and I got a lot of clothing, my mom got a lot of Whistler things, and my dad got a lot of bags he could carry. Of course, not his own things, we just let him carry our things. Before we went home Sunday, we should try the zipline. Or me, my sister and father should, my mom said, that she had seen enough of Whistler from the sky, and she just wanted to stay at the ground. But wow it was an experience of a lifetime! My legs were shaking, and the guide really thought that I was going to throw up, but I didn’t, and we all three came down alive. All in all, it was a really amazing trip, and Whistler was a really pretty town.
