The film is about a man named Phillipe Petit who received very big dreams in 1974. He started tiny between trees, but quietly built up to bigger things, for example. across a lake and later he crossed Notre dame and was arrested afterwards, but it seemed so unbelievable that he was without punishment. On a street show one day he met his great love, Annie. She sang in front of everyone and he thought it was beautiful. He fell in love and won her love.

He got help from Papa Rudy, who was former lined dancer in a big circus. he should help him become a big liner dance one day. One day Phillipe fell over an article in the newspaper, where he got big thoughts started. His big dream was to go from one tower to another in London, the twin towers. Papa Rudy would not let him do it and backed out so he had to gather a new team for help. He immediately flew to London, met a lot of challenges and some from the team leaned out. His true friends came back, supported him and helped arrange the coup. nothing went after the plan as they met a lot of challenges along the way. but one thing was for sure he did. He was on the line for a total of 45 minutes, one of the reasons was the desire of others where the police were standing by both of the towers. Outside of the line he reached both times, stood still, kneel down, lay down and lay the balance stick. when he finally got back on the towers he was taken by the police, put in handcuffs and despite violations, praised a lot. Everyone was complaining about him. In court he was not punished, he should only act for children in the park for free. He would be happy, and he left his dream in New York, while his team returned to France to find their dream that he had just completed.
