I Checked the sky for signs of rain and set off early to make the most of the day. I had packed my bag with a few necessities – a bite to eat, a bottle of water and heaps of curiosity about what the day would bring.

I walked out of my front door turned around and locked it. I had planned to go the Routeburn Track up in the beautiful mountains of New Zealand. There was not a cloud in the sky and the suns light was beautiful on the mountain side. The hills was covered in high grass and it was a some big rocks that laid the path of the track. It was the first time I walked this route and it was incredible I had never seen anything like that. After a little while I found a place where I could eat the food I had carried with me. It was the perfect spot to eat lunch, the view vas amazing. I could see some mountain goats jumping around. After a little while where I just looked at the goats, there came a little bald man with a great white beard towards me. He came all the way up to me and asked if I had seen any sheep’s walking around here and I answered no I have only seen the mountain goats over there. The little man turned around and said that’s not mountain goats that’s my sheep’s, I walked a little closer and yes it was sheep’s. the little man then asked me if I would help him catch them in again. And then I thought why not I don’t need to be anywhere to day so I said yes and we walked over to the other side, and two and a half hours later we had catch them. And after that the old man said if you don’t want to use all your day trying catching sheep’s then don’t talk to strangers. And I said yeah you are probably right and then I walked home feeling tired and used, but happy for the things I saw on my journey. While I was walking home I starting thinking over why I have chosen to go for a walk this spectacular day. The thing I learned today was don’t talk to strangers unless you want to use your day by catching sheep’s just like the old man said. That old man made this ‘’More than just a walk’’
