FSA - More than a walk

I checked the sky for signs of rain and set off early to make the most of the day. I had  packed my bag with a few necessities – a bite to eat, a bottle of water and heaps of  curiosity about what the day would bring.  I decided that, I would go to Routeburn Track,  because it’s a popular, but also a quiet place in New Zealand. I would love to get away  from the city, with all the people, who are busy all the time.  I locked the door to my  house, and started my blue car.  When I finally arrived, I placed my car, and went into Routeburn Track. It was hard and  exhausting to go in the mountains, but I almost forgot that, because it was such an  amazing place. There was not a cloud in the sky, and the nature was wonderful. There  were various plants, and small insects, which lived in the plants. I haven’t seen all of the  insects before, but some of them. I began to feel hungry, so I sat down, and ate my  food. Suddenly I saw something move a bit away from me. I couldn’t see what it was,  but I got curious. I put my food back in my bag, and went towards the mysterious  movement. When I got closer, I could see an animal walk around, at first I thought it was  a big dog, but then I realized, that it was a baby bear. I was a bit scared, but not that  much, because it was so small and cute.  I stood and observed the bear, when an old man suddenly came. He told me to go away  from the bear. I couldn’t understand why, but he seemed serious, so I did what he told  me to do.  When we got away from the bear, he told me that his name was Peter, and he was in  the mountains every day. Peter was a very wise man. He told me that the mom always  is near by the baby bear, and she is a bit bigger, and more dangerous.  I got a great talk with Peter about the mountains, animals, and plants? he was almost an  expert on this area. He showed me around in the mountains, and I really learned a lot of  new stuff.  When we had walked for a few hours, we said goodbye, and I went home. On the way  home, I thought a lot about all the things, that Peter learned me that day. I had learned  a lot of plants and animals to know, but also things about Routeburn Trades history. It  was a lot more than I have expected to learn. I felt really good. It was nice to experience  the fresh air and the nature, and contemporary with? I have got a friend for live.
