The short story “the right time to fly” by Shirley golden is a story about a man called Marcus who works in a landfill and a young woman who often comes to the landfill to get pictures for some school project. Marcus often sees her taking pictures of the landfill while he is working. One day he decides to try to capture the woman. She is obviously not supposed to be walking on a landfill. He runs after her and few moments later he finds her sitting in a homemade shelter of some sorts. He walks down to her and they start talking. They were just talking about their life’s how old they were. Then she runs from Marcus again but this time she runs into some scrap metal and got wounded. Marcus took his time to calm her down and helps her with her wound. Then the woman showed Marcus a radiator that she thought looks like it is wings. Marcus did not see it and after some time they left each other. A week later Marcus decided to check her shelter to see if she has been there. At the shelter there is no signs of the woman but the was a letter. The letter said that it was never too late to start over and suddenly also Marcus can see the wings on the radiator.
