Why do people tease? We will never really understand, why people tease. At my former school, we made a research about, why people tease and who is it that are teasing others? The research showed, that many people think, that people tease because, they are unsure about themselves and often, it is people there have moved school or work, because then they are new and they don`t know, what to do, and then they start to tease someone just for fun, but it will probably end in bulling.
I think that people who are teasing or bulling others, is doing it, because they have been bullied themselves and therefore, they don`t now it is wrong to bully others, because it happened to themselves. I think that some schools don`t do enough perhaps because there isn`t an anti-bullying law in Denmark. I think it could be usefully in Denmark.
There is a big difference between teasing and bulling, bulling is long-lasting teasing, and often it is a group of people against one single person. Some of the things many people are getting bullied for are: if you are overweight or if you have a different skin colour. Teasing is if it isn’t long-lasting, if it`s just a one thing. It can also be teasing with a twinkle in your eye, which means that both the teaser and the one, who is being teased thinks, it is fun.
