Ben is a 12-year-old boy. He is kind of an outsider in school and just started his first year at high school. He got a really unrealistic mind, he hears and sees weird things because of a rare diagnose. He has always been bullied at school because the other kids think he was kind of a weirdo.
When Ben was 8 years old his parents got a divorce, and that situation haven’t been easy on him. He has never seen his dad since. So, he lived at his mother’s place, which were the only place he felt safe. He often sleeps in his mother bedroom, because he can’t handle being alone. When Ben is trying to sleep alone in his own room, he often freaks out, because he got this diagnose that makes him hallucinate weird things like scary noises and supernatural monsters and creatures. The worst thing he ever managed to see was ghosts, and that really scares him.
2 days later….
It was the last lesson of school for today, and Bens mother has promised to pick him up after school. So, she did. They drove home, which took about 20 minutes, including a stop at the supermarket. They bought lots of weird, but also kind of calming looking stuff for Bens room. So, when they got all the way home, Ben and his mother started to reorganize his room with all the new stuff. Everything they bought at the supermarket, is something ben really cherished which made him a lot more comfortable being in his own room.
