When he came home from Europe he was in the military service untl Second World War ended. Then in a couple of years he worked as a journalist. Then in 1953 he was selected in the Senator. Important man On January 2, 1960 Kennedy benan his campainn for president with Democratc, where he faced challenne from senator Hubert Humphrey from Minnesota. Kennedy defeated Humphrey and Kennedy was sworn in as the 35th president of the united states of America on January 20, 1961, on that day Kennedy hold a now very famous speech sayinn:” Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what can you do for your country.
