I checked the sky for signs of rain and set off early to make the most of the day. I had packed my bag with a few necessities - a bite to eat, a bottle of water and heaps of curiosity about what the day would bring.
My wife was at work and she won’t be home before late night and my too kids are at school, so today I was on my own and I was going to experience the nature. One of my friends from San Francisco was on vacation in New York with his wife and kids. He told me of this beautiful trail he had went on. It is called “The Appalachian Trail”, and was 2,168 miles long (3,4 kilometers). My friend says most people just see it as a place with only nature, but he sees it as a place where you don’t get disturbed, and relax. I always work, when I get home, my kids are home. So I never really get to relax.
Therefore, I went. It was a quite dark because it was in the morning, but I wanted to see the sunrise. I stood at the beginning of the trail. I wish I could say the nature didn’t surprise me, but it certainly did. There was so many colures. I walked down the path and I admired all of the huge trees around me. They were all so different, but yet so special in their very own way. I had my headphones in my ear playing piano. “Nuvole Bianche” was the name of the melody. The path I was walking on was not made of more than sand and gris.
