Analytical essay - Let’s Be Honest, Gun Control OpponentsGun control is restriction on the use and buying of firearms. In the USA certain, licensed people can buy firearm as they please. Some people though are prohibited against buying, when for example they have a criminal record, that obstruct them in using guns again. These are the rules, but the system has proved, that there are holes in it, because of the many illegally purchased guns.

In “Let’s Be Honest, Gun Control Opponents”, Nick Laure writes about his opinion

on the matters of restriction of gun control, in the US. He is the sender of the text and is against gun violence. His article is published at the Huffington Post, as a blog contribution, where his main arguments is, they need gun control legislation in the US. In the text, the main argument is:

“Your gun rights are more important to you than other people’s lives.”. Here we can

arguable state, that his intended receiver is people who are for gun violence or at least, no gun control. He points out, that not all gun owners are bad, but that some of them just makes the rest of them look certifiable. This article is an expressive text, with the use of Pathos. First of all, because it is a blog post, but also because Laure has no persuasive conviction or quantitative data, which is required, when using Ethos and Logos. Yet, at one point he writes:
