The story is an old English story about the main character as I assume is a man committing a murder on another man, he sneaks in his home at late night when the man is asleep but wakes him up by accident and then must hide and not move in about an hour. then he proceeds to commit a cruel murder, when he then has to dispose the body he chops it into pieces and listens to the man's heart to make sure he is stone dead, he is indeed
He gets the brilliant idea of hiding the body below the floor, so he proceeds to remove a few planks from the floor below him, then chops the body into smaller pieces to make it easier to hide. He dumped the body into the newly gap that he just made and replaced the planks with a precision that no human eye could notice that they’ve ever been missing
The murder is rather calm even when five-0 shows up on the address on which he is currently located at, they said that they've heard a scream and came to search the house to determine whether that there have been any crimes committed, they continue to search the house and the murder brings a few chairs into the room and places them over the perfectly replaced planks, as he sits down to talk with the coppers, he feels the old man's heart thru the floor and is determined that the police don’t sense anything suspicions. As the heartbeat gets stronger and stronger the murder gets more and more affected by it and the police still can't feel it, the murder has officially gone insane.
