Why did I choose this topic. - It took me a long time before i could decide which topic i should choose, mainly because of the fact that I didn't like any of the other topics so i did choose the one who I had some kind of knowledge to, and that was the topic “School shootings”. But there are also some more reasons for why I did choose the topic “School shootings”, and that is that I also found it a bit interesting and that I also had some thoughts about that it would be some kind of easy to write.
2. History. - School shootings doesn't happen a lot in Denmark, mainly because of the fact that it is difficult to get access to deadly weapons and firearms in Denmark. Opposite Denmark is school shooting very common in the United States, and i think that it is because of the fact that you can easily get access to firearms and weapons in the United States. The United States also have the highest number of school-related shooting. And one of the most shocking school shooting would be the Columbine massacre, who also found place in the United states . ‘ The Columbine massacre took place the 20th of april 1999 at the Columbine High School in Colorado. Where two student known as Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, shot and killed 12 student and a teacher, while injuring 24 other students. And after they had shot all these people had they commit suicide. Even though they had killed 13 person, they had planned to kill many more persons, which they would have done with a bomb, they had planted a bomb in the cafeteria ten minutes before they began to shoot, they had also planned to kill all of the survivors, who would have ran, out of the cafeteria to get shot by them. but somehow the bomb didn't go of, and after they had waited in a while, they had decided to take the action by themselves.
