Martin luther king became the leader of the civil Rights movement from 1929 to 1968.

Between 1957 and 1968 he traveled over 10 million km and made over 2,500 speeches as well as writing 5 books. His greatest success was the peaceful March for jobs and freedom in 1963 in washington, where he had write a note, some he become popular for, ’’i have a dream’’. In 1964 king, aged only 35, was awarded the nobel prize for peace. Martin gave a speech where he tell about a demented black woman who tried to killed him with a blade. She stick the blade in the chest on martin. He came on to the hospital harlem where he were operation. A few days after the operation, was he fine, and i find out that some people had write letters to him, and the first letter was from the president and the other were was from the vice-president, but where was a letter from a littelt girl, there she had write some beautiful things. But the april 4 1968 martin luther king shot dead in memphis by james earl ray (he was a white man)
