Joey was walking down the snowy street with Marshall and Ted. None of them had ever been to New York before, and the study trip was just so exciting. Yesterday they went for a walk in Central Park, took an art class and had fun at the docs. Today had been a little less interesting, except this evening. They had been to the opera and was on their way home. Just before they reached the stairs to their rented apartment, Marshall suggested that they went for a drink. Ted and Joey were a little tired, but Marshall kept on pushing and, at the end, they all went to the bar around the corner.

The bar was nice, cozy and very warm, compared to the tons of snow outside. The only strange aspect was that the bar was completely empty, besides the bartender and the boys. As Joey was just finishing his beer, he noticed something strange. A tall man, covered in black clothes and a motorcycle helmet, stepped in. And before Joey could tell his friends, the tall man had pulled a big gun from beneath his coat. He was pointing it at the bartender’s head! The three friends were quick to lay down on the floor. Fortunately, the threatening man hadn’t noticed them. In panic, Marshall flipped up his phone and dialed 911. When the police finally picked up, he was talking so low, that they could hardly hear him. As he was trying to report the robbery, Ted stole a glance at the bar. The bartender, sweating in panic, was opening the cash register and tossing bottles of liquor in a transparent plastic bag. Never had any of the guys been so nervous. As Ted took another sneak peek, he noticed that the rascal was reeling from side to side, obviously intoxicated. He was wobbling and had a hard time standing still.
