There are many people who are stating that boarding school in Britain is a bad thing for children. Each year there is about 69 pupils that gets send to boarding school. To enter the boarding school, it cost around £25.000 for a year. There has been a lot of arguments whether it is good for children or is it a bad thing. People said the advantages about attending boarding school is that students learn how to be independent at the boarding school and that they offer a proven path to universities. However, the disadvantages about boarding, is that you get cut off from the rest of society, and it has been said that many leave the boarding school with something called boarding school syndrome.
It has been said that if you send your children to boarding school there would be a high chance for them to get into a university. The reason there is a high chance for them to get into university is because, at boarding school they have generally small classes which helps the teachers to engage every student in the classroom. However, the academics at boarding schools operate at a very high level. Due to the boarding school academics is operating on a high level, it has been said that the students have a very high chance to enter university because they have been on a boarding school which the teaching is on another level than a normal school.
