In our generation many families are being destroyed because of divorce and many parents forget what their decision will do to their children. In the world we live in children needs a pair of parents that will teach them how to behave and in general how to be commit. The story is about children of divorced parents.
The novel is about Alex and his little sister Rosie. Alex and Rosie’s parents are not together anymore, and Alex does not have a clue why his dad left his mom. Alex had a very bad and long day in Robin Hood’s Bay since he got sick and puked all over his stepmom’s leg and her shoes. Alex thinks about a lot of stuff through the day. There is this one thing that is stuck on Alex’s mind which was something that his friend Ben told him at school. Ben told him about a bus driver that drove over an opening large bridge and the bus actually went flying. Alex thought a lot about what the people in the bus thought when they were mid-air. Alex confronts his family with the same question that he asked himself, what were the people in the bus thinking and what they were feeling.
